SA State Executive Officer, Christian Education National
Wendy Joyce lives at Wandearah East (SA) on the family farm, (two and a half hours north of Adelaide), with her husband Brian. They have two sons, Tom (19) and Nick (17). Wendy was the board chair of the Mid North Christian College (MNCC) at Port Pirie since the initial committee met to discuss the possibility of a Christian School in Port Pirie in 2003, during MNCC’s commencement in 2005 and up until 2010. In that time the college has grown from 101 students in a two building campus to a R-12 college with 265 students in eight purpose built blocks. The most recently completed buildings encompasses a new library, beautiful language centre and a fantastic tech/art facility. Wendy feels that she can contribute valuable advice and assistance to anyone considering starting a new Christian school, especially in South Australia. Wendy would welcome your contact through phone or email.
Wendy is an active member of the Wandearah Uniting Church, a vibrant local community centre attended by country and regional families. Wendy’s organisational skills include planning rosters, services and teaching Sunday School on a regular basis. She also particularly enjoys engagement with youth through facilitating Christian courses, conference attendance and organising youth events.
Other interests include holidaying with her family, water sports and horse riding and loves God, farm life and CEN!
