NT State Executive Officer, Christian Education National
Geoff’s involvement with the Christian schooling started nearly 16 years ago in the Northern Territory as a parent and school council member at Marrara Christian School. Geoff and his family later left the Northern Territory to work with Fusion Australia in rural Tasmania. There he had oversight of Fusion’s training in Christian Youth & Community Work and helped start a Christian school, of which he later became Principal.
The call of the tropics (and, more significantly, the Lord) was too strong and in January 2005 Geoff took up a position at Woolaning Homeland Christian College (adjacent to Litchfield National Park, two hours drive South West of Darwin). Geoff was appointed as Principal of Woolaning from July 2005 where he stayed until he took up the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Territory Christian Schools Association in April 2007.
The NTCSA has seven schools in the Northern Territory, manages another under contract and is involved in numerous other projects and ventures in support of education, training and care of Northern Territory children and young adults.
Geoff, his wife Sue and two adult sons have almost reacclimatized to life in the suburbs after years in the northern and southern bush. As a family they continue to marvel at the journey God has them on.
