POSITION DESCRIPTION
Successful applicants will have a passion and vision for educational leadership in a Christian school context. They must be exemplary educators with an understanding of current educational issues. They will have demonstrated capacity to engage and inspire others to work as a team. A clear understanding of curriculum, administrative, and student welfare issues relevant to the section of the school is required.
REQUIREMENTS
Due to a restructuring of the school’s senior leadership, applications are sought for the position of Head of Secondary (7-12). This Senior Executive position is open to committed Christians of reformed persuasion actively involved in their local church.
The Head of Secondary position will report directly to the Principal with delegated responsibility for the leadership of staff and students. They must be keen to work within the Senior Executive Team to assist in the implementation of the school’s Strategic Plan.
Sutherland Shire Christian School is a non-denominational, protestant P-12 school with a current enrolment of over 790 students. Situated in Barden Ridge, a southern suburb of Sydney, the school continues its vision and commitment to provide quality co-educational Christian education in partnership with parents.
