Heritage Christian School is a K-12 co-educational school of approximately 180 students. The school is conveniently located on one site on the western outskirts of Port Macquarie beside a leafy wetlands area.

Heritage was founded in 1983 on biblical principles for the purpose of enabling children and young people to grow in wisdom and in stature. The gospel of Christ is our measure for this.

We have embraced a strengths-based educational philosophy, recognising and building on the God given talents of each member of our learning community.

Each staff member is an evangelical Christian attending a local church.

Students participate in service and missions programs within local and global contexts.

Kindergarten provides a stable environment with discovery learning as the introduction to schooling. We emphasise literacy and numeracy, providing a strong foundation for future years.

Our multi-age primary classes encourage each child to be an active learner, continuing to develop basic skills and studying an integrated curriculum.

Junior secondary students study a rigorous core of subjects such as English, maths and science. They also choose from a generous elective structure leading to the School Certificate.

Senior students in Years 10-12 use strong ICT support to blend independent and collaborative learning towards their HSC. We offer a wide range of subjects through our innovative approach to these cornerstone years (10-12), preparing young adults for the world beyond school.
